Sean Penn and Armani for Haiti

La coppia vincente. Giorgio Armani e l’amico Sean Penn insieme a Cannes a sostegno di Haiti. Durante la serata di venerdi 18 maggio all’Agora Pavilion ha avuto luogo il lancio della collaborazione per l’Haitian Relief Organization creata nel 2010 dall’attore americano.

L’evento, l’Haiti Carnival in Cannes ha avuto  lo scopo di raccogliere i fondi per aiutare le persone che hanno perso la loro casa dopo lo spaventoso terremoto. La serata di beneficenza ha aiutato anche altre due organizzazioni no-profit: Artists for Peace and Justice e Happy Heart’s Fund.

Numerose le star che hanno partecipato alla cena di gala: il regista Paul Haggis, la top model Pèetra Nemcova, Gislles Jacob, Roberta Armani e il direttore esecutivo del Festival di Cannes.

“Sono molto grato al mio amico Giorgio Armani per il suo generoso sostegno.” ha dichiarato Penn. “La ricostruzione di Haiti necessita di un impegno prolungato da parte di persone appassionate alla causa, per molti anni futuri. Sono onorato di avere Giorgio Armani al mio fianco.”

Sean è un uomo di rare qualità che mi ha conquistato con il suo straordinario talento,È un onore per me poter prendere parte alle importanti attività,unendomi a lui nel suo impegno umanitario a favore degli abitanti di Haiti. Il fatto che tutto ciò trovi realizzazione al prestigioso Festival del Cinema di Cannes è per me una grande occasione e dimostra cosa accade quando si lavora con Sean, una vera e propria forza della natura”, ha dichiarato Giorgio Armani.

The victory couple. Giorgio Armani and his friend Sean Penn were in Cannes to support Haiti. During the evening of 18th May at Agora Pavillion took place the launch of Haitian Relief Organization created in 2010 by the American actor.

The event, Haiti Carnival in Cannes aimed to pick up money to help people which have lost their home after the terrible earthquake. The charity event helped also two others organizations no-profit: Artists for Peace and Justice and Happy Heart’s Fund. 

Several celebrities participated at the event: the register  Paul Haggis, la top model Pèetra Nemcova, Gislles Jacob, Roberta Armani e the director of the Festival  Cannes.
