Alexander Wang to Balenciaga: No,thank you!

Alexander Wang è il nuovo designer di Balenciaga. Dopo  vari rumors che mormoravano Christopher Kane  alla guida- rimasto ormai  orfano di Versus - la scelta è ricaduta sullo stilista americano. Ma tra tutti,  proprio lui? Nulla togliere alla sua formazione - si è laureato presso la scuola di moda più prestigiosa del mondo, la Parson School of New York- ma con la maison francese ha poco a che fare. L’ultima collezione, decisamente troppo minimalista, ha uno stile completamente diverso da quello di Nicolas Ghesquiere  e di Balenciaga. Una scelta che ha lasciato tutti un po’ sorpresi e anche i fashion addicted non sono rimasti entusiasti della notizia. Sbagliano noi o la maison? Chissà, vedremo a febbraio quando verrà presentata la sua prima collezione. Per il momento riesco solo a dire: “Alexander Wang da Balenciaga, anche no!”
