Sarah Burton is the new star of Fashion. Not  many people know her name but most of all remember her dress, the wedding dress of Kate Middleton.
She admitted that it was the biggest secret she has never kept sharing only with her loyal team until the wedding day. That day she was in Westminister Abbey and thought to live in a dream. She could not believe that the future princess of England was wearing a dress designed by her. She considers that moment( the first sighting of the dress with its train measuring 2,7 metres and so the announce of the belonging to the maison Mcqueen) as the  best moment of her life.

It is impossible not to love her with her typical British accent and her bon ton behaviours.
She has been able to conquer the world of fashion.
She started to work for Mcqueen in 1996 and then after the death of the founder, she became the new creative designer. She is always ready to thank him to have taught her everything and she describes him as a genius and as the most creative man that fashion system has ever had.
Burton understands his DNA and she recreates the Mcqueen woman because the way of working of Alexander and Sarah is similar: he was and she is obsessive with reserach and new.
The Mcqueen woman is strong, self confident, has no fear about prejudices and rappresents the future.

After the wedding it took place in New York at Metropolitan Museum the exhibition of Alexander Mcqueen, a show that encompassed his vast body of works.
The exhibition, Alexander Mcqueen:Savage Beauty, has attracked more than 660,000 visitoros, putting it among the top 10 most visited exhibition in New York in the last 140 years.

Even thought the tragic death of Alexander Mcqueen, Burton has been able to keep high the name of the maison and to follow his philosphy: " we must be always more visionary".
A big applause to the new star of fashion!
Who knows if now also the other celebreties want one of her wedding dress ... I know only that I want it! :-D
